On September 6, 2022, a local chapter of The U.S. Veterans Motorcycle Club escorted some artifacts recovered from the rubble at Ground Zero in NYC. They were escorted from The Flight 93 Memorial in Shanksville, PA, to The Port Matilda, PA, American Legion hall. A private collector had these items, and they were not available to seen by the public, until recently. The artifacts are pictured below.

Hi Bill. Thank you for sending the Sept. 11 Artifacts – very interesting and chilling. Amazing that this horrible incident occurred such a long time ago. It seems like it was only a few years. When this article appeared, I marked it as unread, so I wouldn’t forget to read it. However, when I got onto my emails today, I saw that you also had sent a couple of your weather reports – from August and the summer in review. Although I was never a fanatic about Earth Science, I always enjoy reading your reports. I don’t know how I missed them – or maybe they were floating around in “Computerland” and just arrived. Whatever the case, thanks for sending the reports along with the Sept. 11 Artifacts. I appreciate it.
Amazing that fall is quickly approaching. It feels rather autumn-like already with the sun rising later and the damp chill in the air. How are you, your family, and the pups doing? Hope all is well.
Best, Marcia
