On February 7, 2024, I set up a trail camera in my backyard to see what kind of wildlife comes out at night.
I was not disappointed because I captured 3 deer on the very first night.
A few days later, I captured this image of another doe.
Wait and see what else the camera can capture in the coming weeks.

Great idea. You never know what little creatures will be dashing around. The camera certainly got wonderful images of the deer.
Years ago, when Mikayla was a little girl, we were going for a neighborhood walk – minding our own business, of course. Suddenly, an opossum casually crossed the street just several feet in front of us. I grabbed Mikayla’s hand and yelled, “Run! Possum!!” We both ran towards our house, laughing and screaming at the same time. Neither of us had ever seen one in our neighborhood or anywhere else. There is a nearby creek, and there are lots of little animals living there. This guy must’ve gotten lost. Screaming probably wasn’t the most intelligent response. The little guy could have been startled and attacked. Happy weekend! Marcia
