I was appointed Western Pennsylvania Section Traffic Manager on December 1, 2025. My primary responsibility is to collect net activity, station activity, and Public Service Honor Roll reports, compile them, and submit them to the Section Manager and the ARRL.
Another responsibility is to make information on traffic handling readily available and to provide training handouts and supplies for current traffic managers. To help facilitate this, I have established a web page containing relevant information and resources. The URL is :

I am also to cooperate and coordinate with the Section Emergency Coordinator so that traffic nets and emergency nets in the section present a unified public service front.

No surprise – you’re smart and ambitious, and I’m positive that you are very capable of fulfilling your responsibilities with accuracy. Regarding the Emergency Coordinator position, that carries a lot of accountability; you can’t make a mistake, and it looks like you’re the perfect person for that position, as well as the others. (By the way, I clicked onto the “Section Emergency Coordinator” item, wondering what that position entails. It’s a really significant role!)
