January was quite a month. Tons of snow and bitterly cold temperatures. In the past few winters, Syracuse has had about 80 inches of snow overall. So far in the 2025-26 winter season, we’ve had about 110 inches of snow so far, and there’s lots of winter fun that remains. The first snowfall of each winter season is beautiful and exciting. After weeks of it, it’s not so lovely. Well, a new month is here, and maybe we’ll have temperatures in the 20s and 30s soon, a virtual heatwave.
Hope you, Marla, and your mom are well. Best, Marcia
