Hi Bill! Another great picture, worthy of a winter calendar page. Five inches of snow in mid-November is substantial. We’ve had snow on Halloween in the past, but it only accumulated to a couple of inches, I think. AND 3 inches of rain! Weather reporters have said that one inch of rain is equivalent to 10 inches of snow. So if the temperature was below freezing, you might have gotten about 30 inches of snow.
At this point, I think we’ve only had a very few inches of snow. It was just an inch or less at a time, so it just covered the grass and roofs (car and house) lightly each time. In any case, I doubt that the total snowfall would have topped 5 inches. Hardly noticeable with small accumulations each time.
Hope you and all are well! Stay warm. Marcia
