Hi Bill! With another month drawing to a close and the start of May, I just thought a day or two ago that your report would be arriving soon. I was going to write to you, to ask about how things with your mom were going, but I hesitated because I know that you’re so busy with everything. Monitoring her adjustment and care is a full-time job, and I didn’t want to give you one more thing to do – feeling like you had to take a few minutes to respond to an email.

Oh my . . . with everything else that you do, dealing with no power for several days must have been a major pain. You must’ve lost refrigerated items – if any ice cream was in your freezer, that could be enjoyed as things began to defrost. I hope that you didn’t lose much. The already frozen items would keep other items frozen for a while. Were you able to get ice to help the situation? Stressful to manage, for sure.

As long as you, Marla, your mom, your furry babies, and other family members are ok, that’s the most important thing. Be well, Marcia
